With the holiday season and more free time fast approaching for students, the student body was polled to see what streaming service they used most when they had free time (or when they were procrastinating). 51 students were polled on their favorite streaming service.

Netflix garnered the most votes, with 25 votes in total. Their original series were attributed by most of the voters, as Netflix originals have been gaining popularity for a time, from Stranger Things to Black Mirror and She-Ra.

Hulu takes up second place with twelve votes, and those who were polled did not cite a specific reason for choosing Hulu. Hulu does possess a variety of originals, as well as hosting shows such as Brooklyn 99.

Disney Plus runs in third with seven votes, and those who voted for it cited The Mandalorian, the immense selection of classic Disney shows and movies, and the various originals which have been promised to be on the service.

Amazon Prime ranked fourth, taking four votes. Those polled referenced Psych, Amazon Prime free shipping, and the easy access as reasons for choosing it as their top. They also cited that you can bundle Amazon prime with other service packages.

Crunchyroll was not initially on the poll, but took in two votes. Crunchyroll is one of the most extensive anime streaming services and vital for anyone who wishes to binge their favorite anime over the winter break.

DC Universe takes last with a single vote from Prem Patel. He chose it, given that he “just loves DC.”

https://www.justwatch.com/us is a service which will show you if a movie or show you want to watch is available, and if it is, on what streaming service.
