My name is Evie Hahn, I am a sophomore at Bloomsburg Area School District, and this is my first year in Journalism. I joined Journalism so when I graduate in 2022 I can pursue my dream of becoming a photojournalist. I want to go study at the University of the Arts in London. In school, I also participate in creative writing club. In creative writing club, I am the publications officer, my position is to advertise the club by creating flyers, adding to the website, and helping plan events. My love of journalism stems from traveling. I’ve loved to travel since I was young, and about two years ago I picked up a camera and started to document my traveling through photography. Since then, I’ve started a blog, where I include articles and pictures about my travel experiences, I haven’t made the blog public yet, as I am still perfecting them, I hope to have them up on the internet by Christmas break. I have also made an Instagram account for my photography, which I try my best to update every day. Outside of school I like to do photoshoots for people, mainly my friends will ask me to do shoots for them, but next year I am going to start doing senior yearbook photoshoots. I am looking forward to being on the journalism team this year, and seeing what I can learn and create for the BHS newsletter.
