Christmas is famous for being the time of year where families and friends come together to give gifts and celebrate the holidays. It sounds easy enough. Go shopping at a mall (far from Bloomsburg), Buckhorn Plaza, or on a multitude of online stores.Look for what the recipient of you gift wants, buy the gifts, and hope they love it. As simple as it sounds, not everyone has the natural talent of gift giving.

What do we look for in a gift? Use? Sentimental value? We generally look for both qualities in a gift yet this can often be rather hard to find. Gifts are all personalized, Bloomsburg Junor Christina Vo shares ideas of gifts this Christmas: “Well I've always giving out gifts as of two years ago and it's only been two 'like' a few people 'like' one or two of my closest friends but I feel 'like' the most meaningful gifts are the ones that are especially like designed for them for example I gave one of my friends like some Jam because she was like a baker and she loves baking and that was pretty meaningful for her because she has baked for entire life and I've known her since 6th grade.” Christina's presents a guideline people may follow for gift giving. It is important to personalize your gift, and gift them something that will perfectly fit them.

Christina loves giving presents like this and it has become a strong tradition in Christina’s family: “I don't really have my whole family doesn’t really celebrate Christmas say in the means of presents because we're more of 'like' emotional 'like' being there for each other and comforting and I feel 'like' that's like the best gift that I could receive and just people came for me that's the best gift.” These traditions, for Christina, make Christmas special and that much more valuable.

For teenagers who don’t want to or can’t spend a lot of money on gifts for Christmas, there are many different gifts that aren’t expensive. Making candles is an easy gift that everyone will love; all it takes is melting down beeswax, adding color and scent, adding the wick, then pouring it in the mold. There are many other easy “stay at home crafts” that make great gifts for Christmas that never fail. Another option is finding gifts on 'Etsy' that are both affordable and often times customization. https://www.etsy.com/
