Super Bowl or Stupid Bowl? Super Bowl Sundays across the country are a fun way to spend the day whether you enjoy football or just go for the food. Mr. O’Shea, Campbell Flick, and Chris Algard all give their input on their days. Algard and Flick both are rooting for the Chiefs, while O’Shea is for the Eagles. O’Shea says “If the Eagles are in the Super Bowl my wife & I (diehard Philly fans) stay home, no distractions, high-level of both excitement & stress haha.” He states he enjoys more of unhealthy foods, such as wings, pretzel bites, and homemade pizza. “Last year's throwback rap performance was one of the best I've seen in years,” O’Shea says, but he is pumped for Rihanna this year! His favorite Super Bowl memory is from 2018, watching the Eagles win for the first time, beating Tom Brady and the Patriots. Algard on the other hand believes there could have been a better pick for the halftime show, “Yes, I enjoy the halftime show but I'm there for the game more than the halftime show. I think there could have been a better person selected to perform/ more people to perform with her, not just her by herself.” Along with O’Shea, Algard also enjoys wings, chips, dips, and pizza. “No matter who is playing I watch and root for the team I like more if my favorite team isn't playing,” which to me does make sense because it would be more of a worry to find out your team could lose. Flick says her favorite Super Bowl food is buffalo chicken dip. I would have to agree with her. Her day starts with her at cheer practice, then coming home and spending time with her family and friends watching the big game.
